I really hate to complain because I am so grateful to actually be pregnant & was so very very lucky in the morning sickness stakes, but boy oh boy, does this pregnancy have its issues too.
I would have to describe this pregnancy as predominately the headache one. I have been plagued by migraines & bad, bad headaches throughout. In fact, I have had daily chronic headache since Christmas Day (with many before that too).
Along with that I have had a Urinary Tract Infection, Sinus Infection & now Chest Infection - oh glory be, lucky me. So still on antibiotics to try & kick it all (& all ladies know what other joy being on antibiotics brings with it - grrrr).
Now for the last week I have not been able to sleep. I lie in bed exhausted but get so agitated, especially my legs, that I can't get to sleep for hours. Then when I finally do get to sleep, its only for 30-60 minutes. Then the cycle starts all over again, joy oh joy.
Last night I got up & walked the hallway as well as round & round the dining table to try & tire my legs out at 1am then again at 4am, by 5am I was so over it all, so was hubby because I kept waking him up too.
So have been for a nice massage today & returning tomorrow for reflexology to try & ease the restless leg situation & hopefully we can start getting some sleep soon.
Big day tomorrow, we have our morphology/anatomy scan & will hopefully settle some arguments in the house when we find out the sex. Georgie is so sure baby is a girl whereas Brad is certain is a boy - mind you he could also just be saying that to pester Georgie. Tomorrow will tell - hopefully if baby co-operates.

Oh, SuzieQ...So sorry you're going through all this crap, girl. Is there nothing you can take for the RLS? I hear that's the worst condition out there.
ReplyDeleteI'm here if you ever just want to vent and whine! I have my share of gripes about being pregnant, too! Although I know neither of us would change it for the world...
